Too Faced Hangover RX: Does it really do it all?
With winter almost here in New York, the cold weather and heavy winds can wreak serious havoc on skin, especially after being out all night in a below freezing chill. You can moisturize your face all you want, but sometimes, you still need a little boost before applying your tinted moisturizer. In comes Too Faced's Hangover Rx Primer, to the rescue to hydrate, plump and brighten skin while keeping makeup long lasting and dewy. But, does it really work?
After using this primer for a month, we're not impressed.
We'll admit, on first application, it does make skin look and feel great: smooth, hydrated, soft and evens out bumps and roughness. But once makeup is layered over top, it's like nothing was applied at all. It doesn't boost glow under your foundation, and it surely doesn't help makeup stay on longer.
Honestly, it's more like a good moisturizer than a primer, and for $32, it's not worth it.
