Tata Harper Volumizing Lip & Cheek Tint in Very Sweet
Dare we say that this is our favorite cream blush formulation on the market? This gorgeous little pot of goodness is our second purchase from the Volumizing Lip & Cheek Tint line, and it just solidifies that we want every single shade. Very Sweet is a soft pink shade, truly neutral with that signature Tata Harper scent. We love to apply this by just swirling our finger around and tapping it on the cheeks and blending out. This gorgeous tint lets skin shine through while giving a pigmented flush of color to the cheeks.
Ilia Beauty Limitless Lash Mascara
When looking for the perfect clean beauty mascara, we stumbled on this new release by Ilia (that sold out nearly everywhere around the launch). This mascara has a double-sided wand- one for volume, and one for length. We love to mix it up and layer this mascara for a gorgeous doe-eyed look. Without any clumping, this mascara is extremely lengthening. Volume isn't crazy, but it's better than the W2LL People mascara, if you're looking for something more volumizing from there. It's been our go-to mascara for the last month, and that says it all.
Josh Rosenbrook Advanced Hydration Mask
This aqua blue mask has a hard, waxy texture, that immediately melts when massaged into the skin. A great mask for airplanes, it's a clear layer on skin that helps to lock in moisture. When it comes to a fix for extremely dry skin, this isn't it. We used this on dry patches that didn't resolve after this mask, but it did make our skin feel refreshed and was a calming mask to apply and forget about, leaving it on for at least 30 minutes. The price tag on this number is upwards of $65, and in our opinion, the Meli Glow mask from Leahlani is more hydrating and leaves more of a glow to the skin with a lower price tag.
Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway
Looking for a clean beauty makeup balm alternative, we came across the rave reviews on this delicious smelling cleanser. The warming sensation on skin is truly refreshing, and it melts superbly on the skin. However, when it comes to removing stubborn or waterproof makeup, this cleansing balm doesn't measure up. We found that it left residue on the skin that was removed later on with our favorite toner, whereas some other cleansing melt away like the Tata Harper Nourishing Oil Cleanser removes everything without stripping the skin.
Hannes Dottir Mineral Mist
This collagen boosting mist is great for applying just before primer but over moisturizer in the hot summer mornings. This heat wave has us reaching for anything refreshing, and this mist does just that. While we're loving it, the hefty $45 price tag would hold us back from purchasing again. We like it, but we can live without it.
Ursa Major Three Minute Brightening Mask
When we first tried this jelly mask, we tried it for three minutes before applying makeup, and it just didn't do much. For someone with rough, dry skin, three minutes isn't enough time to even it out. Since then, we tried using it for 20 minutes before applying makeup, or until it gets tight and doesn't feel so liquidy on the skin. We found that it then left skin soft and glowing, providing a gorgeous base for morning skincare and makeup. We would definitely recommend this mask for a brightening enzyme mask that's natural and organically effective.
