Curly Hair? Let's Get it!

Curly hair is like, the envy of all the other hair types, but any curly haired girl will tell you: it's hard work. You've gotta keep your curls hydrated to get rid of frizz, but not so hydrated that their weighed down, and you can't just use any product in your hair either, no matter how much straight haired Sally swears by it. With such a specific range of products you need to use, going cruelty free can seem like you're limiting your options even further, but lucky for us, the best of the best are cruelty free too.

Living Proof Curl Enhancing Styling Mousse

Adding a little mousse to curly hair when wet can help to tame flyaways and keep the moisture within the hair. Most of us have been scarred by the girls in middle school who used half a bottle of mousse for that crunchy "all-day wet" look, but using a quarter size amount of this Living Proof mousse will let hair dry to perfection, without looking greasy or weighed down.

Ouai Curl Jelly

You know we had to do it on em with this one. The Ouai Curl Jelly is amazing stuff for waves, curly, and coils by hydrating hair but never leaving it crunchy. Reviews are a little mixed on this product, but the ones who love it really love it, so worth a try!

 Ouidad Curl Recovery Mask

It sucks when you straighten your curls a few times and they seem to completely diminish into a loose, strewn out wave. If you're facing this problem (or if you just feel your curls need a little anti-frizz rehab) check out this mask by Ouidad to help recover curls to their original glory.

Verb Ghost Oil

To finish off your routine, a little oil can help to extend the moisture in hair throughout the day. If you find your curls look great in the AM but by your lunch break they're already frizzing up, a touch of oil can help fix that situation.
