The #BedtimeEssentials at Edith & June

Every girl has her bedtime routine, and over cultures, locations, and personal preference, each one is completely different. We're here to share some of the more surprising bedtime routine tricks we've learned over the years.

Dry Shampoo The Night Before

Not sure where we first saw this trick- but it truly works. If you're going on third day hair, put in dry shampoo right before you go to bed. Spray liberally into roots and don't rub in- leave it white. While you sleep, the whiteness will disappear and the dry shampoo will soak up all of your oils. You'll wake up with first day hair, and can skip working in the dry shampoo in a.m.

Layer Your Oils

Especially for dry skinned girls, an oil or serum is a must-do step in their skincare routine. But if you have combination skin, or multiple concerns, mixing your two faves or simply layering them on top on each other can help to solve those problems.

Band-Aid your Blemishes

Okay, so this one might be a little gross, but let's be honest here: right before bed is when you pop any of those pesky blemishes that have been poking out all day. The regret when you're left with a red, bleeding bump is usually immediate and makes you feel worse than before. If this is often your sich, apply Neosporin to the pimple and cover with a band-aid. In the morning, the blemish should be significantly more healed and way less red.
