Our Favorite Beauty Drinks- From Herbal Teas to Supplements

You've heard us talk before about the importance of keeping a healthy gut for healthy skin, from your diet to keeping on top of your daily water intake. It's the best advice you can give when it comes to revealing glowing, radiant skin, but if you're like us and sometimes treat yourself to a bowl of ice cream or some fries (and by sometimes, we mean, like, 4 times a week) you might need a little boost to keep everything in balance.

Moon Juice Blue Beauty Adaptogenic Protein

If you're someone who likes to start the day with a smoothie, this is a great beauty powder to try. Not only does it turn most smoothies a bright blue color, it also has a light flavor that mixes well with other fruits or veggies. The goal of this beauty supplement is to use adaptogens like ashwagandha to reduce stress, therefore improving your skin. It also contains spirulina, what makes it blue, which is a skin superfood and leads to a glowing complexion.

Rosehip Tea

A more herbal take on a beauty supplement, Rosehip tea contains more Vitamin C than any other food in the world, and vitamin C is essential for the creation of Collagen. Drinking Rosehip tea boosts both of these, resulting in a glowing, supple and hydrated complexion. It tastes slightly sweet and pleasant and can be drunk straight or with a bit of honey. To get the full benefits, boil your tea bag in water for 7 minutes to extract all of the vitamins from the plant.

The Beauty Chef GLOW Powder

We've been an advocate for The Beauty Chef from the very beginning, the Collagen Liquid Beauty Boost being one of our skin saviors (you can read the full review here) but their main product is the GLOW powder, a berry flavored powder to drink in your water or smoothies. The unique cultures in The Beauty Chef's products help to boost collagen, vitamin C, and zinc, for healthy hair, skin, and nails. If you want something silky smooth to add to your water, we recommend one of the inner beauty boost liquids, but if you like smoothies or even milkshakes, the GLOW powder is the one to go with.

Hibiscus Tea

Hibiscus is another red-colored plant that carries essential nutrients for our skin. As well as being high in Vitamin C, hibiscus also contains high amounts of Omega-3 Fatty acids which are essential to maintaining hydrated skin and hair.
