The 2020 Christmas Gift Guide

While we may all be spending Christmas in our socially distanced bubbles, it might be even more pertinent than ever to send a small gift to friends and loved ones. This year our gift guide is focused on things that feel luxurious without being at that price range because I think we could all use a little pamper.

Necessaire The Body Lotion and The Body Exfoliator

If a special someone in your life is looking to expand their self care routine or would just benefit from insanely soft skin, Necessaire is a great brand to gift. Not only are their products reasonably priced for the quality and gorgeous packaging, but you can also buy in sets, such as The Body Duo, The Body Essentials (Our favorite!) and The Body Ritual. We’ve linked the Eucalyptus scent here, but they also offer all of their products in a fragrance free version if your giftee has sensitive skin.

Bijou Candle Set

While it seems that this exact candle is set to return back in stock later this year, these candles are the perfect gift for anyone who likes home decor or relaxation in general. Not only are the scents extremely unique and divine, they look beautiful and there’s a style for everyone. For the pink and gold lover, try one of their 70’s icons votive candles, for your gothic witchy friend, try one of their classic witch candles, or for your more classic friend, try the chanteuse candle.

Supergoop! Glow Screen

This is a great gift you can give to any one of your friends or family members whether they like beauty or not. Supergoop’s Glow Screen is an SPF 40 that you can wear under makeup as a primer or on it’s own for a subtle hint of glow. Since it’s a clean brand, this product is fool-proof as it works for acne prone and sensitive skin, and works on all skin types.

Tata Harper Masks

If you really want to get someone a gift that will make them feel pampered, Tata Harper masks are the best on the market. Their collection includes four different masks that are the best of the best in their respective field. The hydrating floral mask is the best hydrating mask I’ve ever used, and as someone with dry skin, I’ve tried dozens. It smells delicious, feels luxurious on the skin, and makes my skin beautiful instantly, and for days after. If you have a friend who struggles with oily skin or acne, their clarifying and purifying masks are also amazing, and their resurfacing mask is award winning.

Playa Haircare

If you saw our recent Playa Haircare guide, you’ll know that we can’t get over how amazing this brand makes our hair feel. So it’s no surprise that we’re recommending their healing hair mask as a great stocking stuffer for a friend with long, curly or thick hair. This healing mask does what it says on the tin, but it also helps detox the scalp and encourages curl and texture within the hair. Plus, it looks gorgeous in your shower.

Hedley & Bennet Face Mask

‘Tis the season for a new beautiful face mask and getting a high quality one for a friend is a great gift or stocking stuffer for a family member. One of my favorites is from Hedley & Bennet, which are handmade in L.A, and has a ribbon back-tie that looks beautiful when worn with a cute updo. That mask is no longer available, but Haley Solar makes similar ones, and Jonathan Simkhai makes beautiful, high quality masks if you want to treat your giftee to a truly luxurious mask.
