The Best Products We've Used This Year

2018 has been a whirlwind, from the ever changing beauty world to the many followers we’ve accrued over the past 12 months. We’ve tried so many products this year, and when thinking back to the best of the best, it’s so easy to see the ones that we’ve purchased over and over and that we loved using. Below, we’ve rounded up our favorite products from some amazing brands, and we want to know what some of your favorites were below in the comments!

Skincare

Herbivore Pink Cloud Rosewater Moisture Cream

So we purchased this product three times this year, and just can’t seem to get enough of it. When applied, it has a non-invasive, light scent that sinks easily into the skin and is the perfect layering moisturizer if you also like to use serums and oils, as it’s not too heavy but also packs a punch of hydration.

Moon Juice Plumping Jelly Serum

This universal serum is great for every single skin type, and makes your face feel wonderful day and night. With a sticky, soft texture, this serum plumps up the skin instantly and is a great base for under makeup. It’s also a great serum for anyone with sensitive skin, as it’s very gentle and non-exfoliating.

Odacite GT + L Oil

This phenomenal facial oil has turned out to be the only one that hasn’t turned around and caused us a breakout this year. If your skin is sensitive to oils and your pores often clog up and cause painful acne, try this super hydrating, lemon-scented oil. We love to mix this with the Herbivore moisturizer and apply before jade rolling the face, and wake up with soft, supple skin.

Leahlani Mermaid Mask

Could we have a yearly roundup without a Leahlani mask? Nope. This year the Mermaid mask was our best friend: a calming, redness reducing, hydration increasing mask that is perfect to use once a week for mermaid-esque glowing skin.

Makeup

Glossier Boy Brow

So after trying a few different brow gels this year, this one stays being the only one that doesn’t make brows itchy or flaky while giving massive amounts of volume and hold. Plus, any brow type can use it from soft and few to thick and coarse.

Ilia Limitless Lash Mascara

We tried so many clean beauty mascaras this year (W3LL People, Pacifica etc.) and almost every single one smudged, didn’t hold a curl, or clumped lashes together in a huge black bunch. But this mascara is perfect in every way, from the double sided brush to give you two different looks, to the best curl-holding power we’ve seen in a non-waterproof mascara. We love you Ilia Limitless, and we’ll never go somewhere else.

Lilah B. Bronzer

I have to say that this is the best bronzer that I have ever used, even from before I used clean beauty. Better than Chanel’s Tan du Soleil, NARS Laguna, and even the Guerlain Bronzers. This duo-sided bronzer has just enough shimmer to add a glow to the face without being glittery, and warms up the face to create a sunkissed look without looking orange. The perfect bronzer for lighter skintones, our only qualm is that it doesn’t come in a darker shade for dark-skinned ladies.

Tata Harper Lip + Cheek Volumizing Tints

I think if I had to choose one type of blush for the rest of my life, it’d be these beautiful tints by Tata Harper. These come in a small range of colors that have a shade for every skintone and undertone, and are so easy to apply with fingers or a blush. The cream formulation means you can also apply them to the lips for a monochromatic look and they look beautifully natural on any part of the face.

The Beauty Chef Collagen Inner Beauty Boost

Do we even have to say how much we love this product? This delicious drink additive is our favorite afternoon pick me up instead of coffee and keeps or bloating down, digestion smooth, and skin soft and supple.

HUM Glow Sweet Glow

Another miracle product, these tangerine flavored gummies actually work to add hydration to the skin, even getting rid of a pesky dry patch I had for months with no avail. Each bottle comes with a month supply, and we look forward to eating these every morning after our skincare routine It’s a little treat at the beginning of the day!
