3 New Clean Beauty Drops at Sephora

We’re coming up on the season of new products on new products on new products, and while that isn’t so great for our wallet, it’s fun to test all of the new things on the market and see what these brands have come up with this season. We browsed Sephora’s new-in section last week and found three products that we were pretty excited about and wanted to bring to you guys.

HUM Skin Heroes

You guys already know by now that we’re a huge fan of HUM on this blog, and we’re never closed off to trying a new product from them. When we saw they were releasing a pre and pro biotic pill in an easy-to-swallow capsule, we were already sold, but this is a product that also worked for us on another level. As someone who is recently struggling with acne, we’re excited to see the results that this product can bring in clearing out our gut and in turn our face and to add an easy step to our clear skin routine.

Playa Soft Volume Powder

This new release from Playa has everything that we could want: a slick, gorgeous package, a delicious desert rose scent, and the promise of volume for our roots, but it is missing one thing: a locking mechanism for travel. We’re excited to try this product, but unless we love it, this baby is going back. The bottle has no lid, instead a removable protective film that you take off after purchase, and once that’s off, there is no way to close off the product from spilling out. That’s fine if it’s staying on your desk, but if you travel or want to take it on the go, it’s just not practical. But if you’re looking for something that will give volume and lift without damaging your hair, that’s exactly what the soft volume powder promises.

Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup Remover

Everytime I stray away from my Farmacy Green Clean, I always end up going back. It truly melts away all of my makeup, doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight, and also doesn’t leave it with an oily film that some products tend to do. But like any good beauty lover, I saw a product that looked promising and had to try it. Drunk Elephant’s Slaai makeup remover is a balm-oil cleanser like the Farmacy Green Clean made with fruit oils, nourishing oils and comes with a bamboo extract blend powder to add once a week for a little extra exfoliation. I have to say: the small exfoliating powder is genius, it’s a way to have two products in one that serve different purposes- it’s a small treat once a week to rest your skin. The remover also comes with a spoon for the cleanest way to use your cleanser, and it’s magnetic! The spoon actually sticks to the top of the lid and is pretty hard to take off: no more losing the spoon!

We’ll be keeping you guys updated on stories as to how we like these products, but have you tried any of these? What do you think?
