The Two Pre Makeup Products That Make My Post Makeup Flawless

Depending on your personal routine, you have those couple of products that always go on before your makeup- the primer to the paint that helps your makeup wear well, look better, and stay on for longer. For me, there are two products that are on my absolute must-have, must-travel, bare minimum list to make my makeup do all of the above, and they’re also multi-use products that blur the line between skincare and makeup.

Ilia Radiant Priming Serum

After searching for so long for a clean beauty primer, this Ilia one is exactly what I’ve been looking for. With a light, serum consistency, this primer is clear with what looks like minuscule sparkles. I like to use a few drops and press it into my skin after I’ve applied my moisturizer. It adds a gorgeous glow to my skin without making me look glittery, as well as giving my skin a boost of hydration and smoothing properties. Since this primer contains aloe, I also love to use this as a serum at night to help soften and hydrate my skin, as well as using it when I’m running errands to add a little glow to my skin and keep it from looking so dull. Since using this product, I’ve noticed how well my makeup lasts without creasing or separating, as well as lasting longer throughout the day and keeping my skin supple even after 9 hours of wear. Botanics All Bright Eye Roller

The second product that I love to apply over the top of the Ilia Priming Serum is the Botanics All Bright Eye Roller, a product that is available at Target and Ulta, and comes at a comfortable price range for something that feels so relaxing. With hibiscus extract as the main ingredient, this eye gel comes in a tube with a cool metal applicator for easy application. I tend to get extremely puffy eyes in the morning and this is so cooling and softening on my eyes, and helps to de-puff and keep my eye area soft and hydrated throughout the day.
