Ilia's Sold Out Bronzer is Sold Out For A Reason

When summertime comes around, I always get itchy feet when it comes to makeup spending; and this summer, it was centered around finding the perfect bronzer. I’ve previously mentioned how much I love the lilah b. bronzed beauty bronzer, but I’ve always struggled with the ultra-pigmentation of this product, being cautious not to over-do it. When Ilia released their new NighLite bronzer, I was keen to try it- it looked like the perfect warming shade for my skin tone and the mix of Jojoba oil and Silica beads within the product intrigued me, promising a hydrating, silky product.

Ilia’s new packaging is wonderfully chic, and as someone who had issues with their previous packaging (flaking of the metallic coating and a multi-stick that became unglued on the bottom) I am so glad they’ve finally changed it. There’s also a full size mirror inside the compact, an added bonus.

The product itself is an absolute dream, and I’m not surprised that they’ve sold out of both shades of this bronzer on their website already. It’s creamy while somehow still being a powder and melts into the skin in a way I’ve never seen a powder bronzer do before. I wear the shade ‘Drawn In’ and it’s a perfectly red-warm shade to look like a natural, sunkissed tan. If you’re looking for something to contour with, this is not the bronzer for you.

I’m also surprised by how long this bronzer is lasting me- I haven’t made a visible dent and I’ve been using it almost every day for little over a month. I can’t even imagine hitting pan on this product, which is honestly a relief. If you’re looking for a new bronzer, or atleast just something warmer for the summer, I highly encourage you to try this, it’s the perfect bronzer in the sweetest packaging.
